The i-ViTool software

The i-ViTool is a software tool developed by i-mation GmbH that has been specially designed for use in the Cognex VisionPro environment.
The i-ViTool enables customers or system integrators to easily use the Cognex ViDi Suite runtime files in combination with Cognex VisionPro.
The Cognex ViDi workspaces can contain the different ViDi tools (ViDi RED ANALYZE, ViDi BLUE LOCATE, ViDi BLUE READ and ViDi GREEN CLASSIFY) individually or in combination with each other.
The i-ViTool makes the functionality of these Cognex ViDi workspaces available to the Cognex development environment in the form of a VisionPro tool.
It can then be used and parameterized like any other Cognex tool without programming or scripting.

The i-ViTool Production Kit provides an i-ViTool license for applications in a production environment.
The Production Kit contains:

i-ViTool software
License key (depending on the serial number of a specific Cognex communication card or Cognex dongle)
2 months limited remote development support ⁽¹⁾

The software is intended for integration into a Cognex Designer or Cognex Vision Pro project and may not be sold or distributed separately.

The i-ViTool software runs for a limited time of 30 minutes before the license key must be entered.
This allows you to test the functionality of the tool before purchasing.

Support & Maintenance

All licenses are perpetual and require no maintenance or renewal fees.
The licenses include all future updates of the tool, e.g. for new versions of Cognex ViDi or the Cognex software ⁽²⁾

High-performance PC with CUDA-compatible nVidia graphics card according to Cognex specifications
Windows 10, 64 bit; Windows 7, 64 bit
ViDi – Suite in the specified version (see data sheet under Downloads)
Cognex VisionPro in the specified version (see data sheet under Downloads)
Development environment / HMI – SW compatible with the specified Cognex VisionPro version (e.g. Cognex Designer – see table below)
