Code reading
We only use leading technologies for reading 1D barcodes and 2D Data Matrix codes. Every code is read reliably, regardless of size, quality, printing process or carrier material – even at the highest clock rates.
For optimum results, we test the quality of your codes in our laboratory in accordance with AIM DPM quality guideline 2006-1 or ISO 15415.
If required, we can also link your IT systems to the test solutions via interfaces. For example, product traceability can be guaranteed – a major advantage in the pharmaceutical industry, for example. At the same time, it is possible to document at any time which parameters of the camera were set at a particular time or when they were adjusted (“audit trail”).

Character reading (plain text reading)
Our tools for character and plain text recognition are far superior to conventional OCR technologies. They guarantee very robust reading results under the most demanding conditions, such as character deviations, text skewing, proportional fonts and variable string lengths. Characters on surfaces with different textures such as metal or plastic are also reliably recognized.
The powerful character segmentation also processes distorted, touching characters and characters with different spacing. Difficulties in reading due to different degrees of reflection on varying marking surfaces are a thing of the past thanks to the intelligent algorithms.
The basis for precise character and plain text reading is the teaching of all variants. This means that reading rates of 300-500 parts per minute can be easily achieved. If higher cycle rates are required, a detailed feasibility study is carried out beforehand.
